- Kim ne yaptı? Yapan önemliyse söyle (We surveyed…); önemsizse be + üçüncü hâl.
- Fiil mi, isim mi? Fiille daha kısa ve açıksa fiil; bilinen bir olayı anıyorsan isim (This decision…).
- Kanıt ne kadar güçlü? Zayıfsa may, suggest, appear to; güçlüyse clearly, It is evident that. İkisi aynı iddiada olmaz.
- Türkçe kalıp mı sızdı? "Amaçlanmıştır" → This study aims to; "kanıtlanmıştır" → The results suggest.
